Warning: CT under attack!!!

by Jeremy Hooper

Connecticut's battle over same-sex unions is set to resume at the Capitol today, with the state's gay rights activists saying they will not settle for same sex unions - marriage is what they seek. Afterall, same-sex marriage is legal in neighboring Massachusetts - why shouldn't Connecticut be next?

Brian-Brown-Copy-1Well not so fast there, progressive minds! Brian Brown (pic.), executive director of the Family Institute of Connecticut is confident that his group, and other similar organizations exploiting the term "family," can successfully block a marriage or civil union bill. He tells the AP:

"This isn't a partisan issue. Democrats, Republicans, black, white, Hispanic - in any category of American life, people support protecting marriage."

And apparently Mr. Brown LITERALLY thinks marriage is under attack, if the fear-mongering logo for his institute's blog, "Connecticut in the Crosshairs," is any indication. Have a looksie:

Seems a bit much. I wonder who they think is piloting the homo-gay bomber jet responsible for those ridiculous crosshairs? Well, of course we have an idea:

Damn, they found out about our secret mission! Well at least they don't know about Base Command Sergeant Degeneres's LA-based operation...Oh hell, now we've gone and done it.
We're gettin' booted from the Homo Corps for sure!
