Donald Dwyer: Preserve traditional medical decision-making!

medicalMaryland Delegate Donald "Down with Queers" Dwyer is launching a petition drive designed to stop legislation that would afford the state's homo-gays the right to make medical decisions for their partners. The measure hasn't even been approved by Maryland governor Robert Ehrlich, so the attempt at sending it to referendum is not only ridiculously bigoted, but also premature.

However, Dwyer tells the AP that "he will still pursue the referendum even if Ehrlich vetoes the legislation, because he doesn't want to risk the Democrat-controlled General Assembly overriding the veto when lawmakers convene in January 2006."

Those damn equality-loving Dems!

If Donny D. is successful in his bid to overturn the Medical Decision Making Act, we hear that he will next attempt to deny the state's gays of their right to decide what they will consume in the form of food. If successful, the state's queers will be forced to dine solely on some sort of arsenic/bleach/raw meat blend that is said to be an old Dwyer recipe.

Mmm, my tummy's growling just thinking about it!!
