Louisiana lawmaker attempts to stuff Heather's two mommies back into closet

Following in the footsteps of Rep. Sally Kern from the nearby state of Oklahoma, Louisiana Rep. A.G. Crowe (pic.) has proposed a resolution that would move children's book with even the slightest mention of homosexuality to adult-only sections of the state's libraries.

Because how the hell can you expect to raise another generation of homophobes when you have BOOKS geared to CHILDREN that say that gay people are NOT EVIL?

Curious George: You best be confining those curiosities to the opposite sex if you know what's good for you!
Velveteen Rabbit: Perhaps you should switch to a less fabulous fabric.
Harold: Crayons come in shades other than purple, ya know. How about a nice masculine red?
Eloise: Ya know those two nice men you met at the Plaza's Sunday brunch? Well, they're just friends Eloise..Friends and nothing more, alright?

Insanity.

Gay book not child's play, says lawmaker [Times-Picayune]
