The Defense of Marriage Coalition now defending their checking accounts
The Oregon Defense of Marriage Coalition is asking Multnomah County to reimburse the legal fees they incurred while working to invalidate the 3,000+ same-sex marriage licenses issued by the county in March of '04.
Because although crushing the dream of equality for a few thousand queers certainly satisfies the soul, it simply does not pay the bills.
