Gay-accepting Chicago media: Consider yourselves warned

Peter LaBarbera of the Illinois Family Institute is urging Chicago media outlets "not to repeat last year's spectacle" of gay acceptance by participating in this weekend's Windy City Gay Pride Parade. LaBarbera warns that if they are involved, the media "risk further alienating that silent majority of Illinois citizens who are tired of press bias and who do not believe that aberrant sexual and gender lifestyles are something to be proud of."

However they do obtain lifetime consumership from that outspoken minority who do not believe that discriminatory lifestyles, or ending a statement with "of," are something of which to be proud.

Labarbera goes on to say that participating in Gay Pride is "not like participating in the St. Patrick's Day Parade, which everyone supports." Upon hearing this statement, the National Association of Acceptance for the Color Blue (NAACB) immediately declared LaBarbera a "green loving bigot" insensitive to the plight of those who weren't born with skin tones that benefit from the color of jade.

We're a polarized nation, folks.
