Cali judge keeps marriage confined to heteros, Scientologists

by Jeremy Hooper

A California judge on Thursday rejected a gay couple's attempt to challenge the Federal Defense of Marriage Act and obtain a marriage license.

In a related California story, a former Dawson's Creek star Thursday accepted an attempt to challenge declining interest in an eccentric superstar's career by obtaining an engagement ring.

Gotta love the "sanctity of PR."

The "nontraditional couple" is said to be doing just fine, and the gay dudes are okay, too.
