Degeneres essay leads to anti-gay protest, possible farmer's tan

    The good ol' Westboro Baptist/God Hates Fags gang protested outside of a Boston-area elementary school today, in reaction to an essay one of the school's fifth-grade students wrote on openly gay talk show host Ellen Degeneres.

After leaving the school, we hear that the WBC crew next headed to protest a local preschool, where a pre-K student had impressively finger painted a portrait of gay rights pioneer Harvey Milk:
