TVC questions sanity of American Psychiatric Association; Psychs sanely reply, "cheesebread enema"
Responding to The American Psychiatric Association's recent decision to broaden their support for 'mo marriage, The Traditional Value Coalition's Louis Sheldon is posing the question on every "pro-family" mind: Has the APA gone insane?
In a carefully worded/possibly ghostwritten press release, Lou Lou reasons that if the APA supports gay marriage because it would benefit the mental health of homo-gays, then someone should be looking out for the arguably shaky mental health of the anti-gays. The release reads:
"What about our mental health? Do the majority of Americans who think homosexuality is abnormal have to bow to the wishes of a small fraction of the population who engage in sodomy? Must the institution of marriage be redefined to cater to the sexual desires of these troubled individuals? I think not."
The rest of Sheldon's/random TVC intern's press release is filled with the typical "gays are evil and I will show you why by quoting all sorts of false facts" rhetoric that is par for the course for Lou and his ilk. Gays are depraved, diseased, violent, unstable - it's all there. Sheldon/random TVC intern then uses the concluding paragraph to further decry the APA, saying:
"The APA’s leadership should be embarrassed and ashamed for allowing it to be a pawn of individuals who believe that engaging in anal sex is somehow equal to traditional marriage."
The comparison is oh so stupid, as everyone knows it's oral sex that we gays equate to traditional marriage; anal is more like a bar mitzvah.
