Gay Games snubbed by Repub. commissioners; clearly they detest marathons

by Jeremy Hooper

The five Republicans who serve on the 17-member Cook County Board of Commissioners (pic. Elizabeth Ann Doody Gorman, Gregg Goslin, Carl R. Hansen, Anthony J. Peraica, Peter N. Silvestri) have removed their names from a ceremonial proclamation welcoming next year's Gay Games to Chicago. In lieu of a welcoming, the fivesome will reportedly spend the next year trying to convince the Olympic-style competition that through faith and brainwashing, it too can be changed into a morally superior Ex-Gay Games, and settle into sex-less monogamy with a nice Women's Rugby Tournament.

It''s fun to personify!
