Blues house gig makes gays see red
Tonight in Cleveland, Ohio, Jamaican reggae singer Sizzla is scheduled to perform at the local House of Blues, where he will bring his unique blend of rhythm, rhyme, and calls for the brutal murders of homosexuals to the Akyroyd/Belushi-owned stage. One who chooses to attend the gig might be treated to such classic Sizzla lyrics as:
“Shot batty bwoy, my big gun boom”
(Shoot queers, my big gun goes boom)
“Boom boom! Batty boy them fi dead”
(Boom boom, queers must be killed)
“Mi a go shot batty bwai dem widdie weapon ya”
(I go and shoot queers with a weapon).
'dem be some crazy ass blues, boy.
Despite protests and the cancellation of a Sept. 12 West Hollywood HOB gig, tonight's potentially murder-condoning performance is currently scheduled to go on as planned. For those homosexuals planning to attend the gig, we'd like to encourage you to please beware of scalpers, both of the ticket reselling and top of the head removing varieties.
We kid - It's unlikely that someone will try to resell you tickets.
