Dayton LGBT group won't spend Labor Day traveling 1 mph

According to the Dayton Daily News, organizers of the annual Kettering Holiday at Home parade in Kettering, Ohio, have denied a request from local LGBT group Diversity Dayton to participate in their slow-moving float brigade. The paper reports that out of the 100 or so groups that applied to participate in the annual Labor Day event, only Diversity Dayton and an anti-abortion group, Respect Life Alliance, were denied in their requests.

Rumor has it that the two shunned organizations will instead join forces to throw an alternate, really awkward parade, where they'll rally to chants of, "We're here, some of us are queer, the rest of us are concerned with the child you rear...Get used to some or all of it."
