Favorable ruling for Cali's partnered 'mos

The California Supreme Court ruled yesterday that businesses offering spousal discounts to married heterosexual couples must also extend those policies to same-sex domestic partners. The case leading to the delightful ruling involved a lesbian couple's right to enjoy spousal discounts while golfing at their local country club, though experts predicted that the decision would also apply to many other non-putter-related businesses.

However, the 'business' of marriage will remain thoroughly queer-free until further notice. We'll keep you posted.
