Knight weighs in on queer penguins' trial separation

'Concerned Woman' Robert Knight is practically creaming in his skort set over the news that one of the Central Park gay penguins has apparently let his lover and turned his affections to a female. In a commnetary on WorldNetDaily, Robby Rob waxes poetic on Silo and Roy's separation and the implications this has on the non-avian gay community at large, before saying:

"For homosexual activists, embarrassment over this penguin breakup has to rank right up there with Anne Heche leaving Ellen DeGeneres and marrying – a man. Or Julie Cypher leaving Melissa Etheridge. Or Elton John leaving his current domestic partner and marrying – wait, that hasn’t happened yet."

No Roberta, as per usual, you have it all faulty. You see, for the millions of homosexuals who have come to a true sense of who they are, the jury is not out on whether or not we are "choosing" our homo-gayness. We don't need to debate, analyze, or be chagrined by anyone's relationships. Are some people physically attracted to both genders? Probably. Do some people get in a same-sex relationship and realize that it is not in fact who they are? Sure, just as many of us at G-A-Y once dated a gender that we soon realized wasn't natural for us. But at the end of the day, when all is quiet in the world and one lies in bed with only their thoughts to keep them company, no analysis or rhetoric can change what you know in your heart, mind, and soul is your true identity. That is the only truth we need, and no amount of rhetoric, criticism or condemnation you guys throw our way will ever change that.

As for Anne leaving Ellen, it would appear that Anne has her own thoughts on that subject, which you might want to check out.

As for the penguins, Silo's nest wrecking actions "embarass" us about as much as our dog does when he licks the neutered groin of his male puppy friend and then turns to sniff the hoohah of a female poodle. Holy shit, my shih tzu just changed his sexuality -- maybe I can too!

As for the possibilities of Elton turning on us...
