Marriage mayhem sweeps Lone Star State

A group working under the moniker "Save Texas Marriage" claims that the language used in Proposition 2, the proposed amendment to the Texas constitution that's designed to ban gay marriages, is not only discriminatory, but also faulty, and could actually be interpreted as banning ALL marriages, straight, gay, or otherwise. As such, they are encouraging all Lone Star State residents to vote against the bullsh*t, even if the thought of 'mos walking down an aisle makes them want to break things.

However, local and national anti-gays are claiming that the group is merely trying to deceive Texans into voting against the marriage ban by confusing them with misinformation. They are encouraging residents to ignore the claims and still vote in favor of the amendment, as banning queers from registering for waffle irons is the only path to moral righteousness.

We say, cut all of the bullshit: The truth is, Texans, if you vote in favor of the ban this November, God will cancel Christmas.
