Barrowman and fellow man to seal deal

by Jeremy Hooper

Scottish-born actor John Barrowman (pic.), a regular of the West End and Broadway stage, has announced that he'll join Elton in the UK gay union fun and seal the deal with his partner of ten years. Unlike the Rocket Man, however, Barrowman indicates that he and his beau, architect Scott Gill, will simply "sign the civil register" and not have a big ceremonial to-do.

Also unlike Elton and David, public interest in this whole thing is likely to be severely lacking. But we care, boys -- Congrats! Here's to years and years of happily sorta-wedded bliss.
