LA critics names 'Brokeback' best film; LA lying idiot cites 'broke back' as reason for missing work today

by Jeremy Hooper

As that magical time of artistic merit judgement know as "awards season" rapidly approaches, Brokeback Mountain has emerged as an early prize-taking frontrunner by being named '05's best film by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association.

Meaning, of course, that it's a shoo-in for the Closeted Homosexual Film Critics Association's 2005 "Yea, sure, it was good. Why are you asking me? I mean, it was fine..nice camera angles, the ladies were GORGEOUS. Why, did someone say I like really liked it, because, I mean, yea, it was a good movie but I wasn't like obsessed with it. It's not like I couldn't shake it from my mind for days as it haunted my every thought. But it was fine filmmaking, yea. Did I mention Anne Hathaway looked really hot?" prize.

Prestigious, that one.
