AZ: Sapphic sister to serve on state Senate

by Jeremy Hooper

Paula Aboud (pic.), an out of the closet lesbian, Democrat, and woman, was unanimously named to the Arizona state Senate yesterday. Paula Abdul was not.

Aboud will take the seat of fellow Dem Gabrielle Giffords, who's resigning to make a bid for U.S. Congress. She is reportedly the first open lesbian to serve on the Grand Canyon State's Senate, though likely not the first to have her sexual life labeled by some to be a "Sin, it."

Best of luck in your new position Paula -- your "homosexual agenda" handbook is taped under the toilet in the second stall of the third floor restroom, so get out there and get us some marriage allowance, pronto.
