'Brokeback' earning honors at 'Breakneck' pace

by Jeremy Hooper

Brokeback Mountain was honored with three Critics' Choice Awards last night -- one for director Ang Lee, another for supporting actress Michelle Williams, and the third going to the film itself for best picture. However, Heath Ledger did not win for best actor, which is fitting, considering everyone knows that being a gay cowboy is not a 'Choice.'

This trio of trophies put 'B'back' on top last night, surprising all who thought the flick was a big ol' bottom. Here's hoping the film will keep on pounding the competition until it finally settles down with Oscar.
