In attempt to wash away homophobia, GLAAD soaps up

by Jeremy Hooper

Our inclusivity-craving friends at GLAAD have announced that they're teaming with our melodramatic acquaintances at "General Hospital" to create a public service announcement designed to promote awareness of LGBT issues. The PSA, which features "Hospital" stars Ben Hogestyn (Lucas) and Lindze Letherman (Georgie), will air during the daytime soap on Jan 18 and again on Jan 24.

Relatedly, in our own attempt to decrease the homophobic nature of the average daytime TV viewer, we plan go on "The Price is Right" and replace the end of show cue card with a similar one reading: "this is Bob Barker encouraging you to help control the queer population, have your gay out and proud."
