The "fag-hating" protesters from Westboro Baptist reportedly had a tire slashed, eggs and stones thrown their way, and two members assaulted this weekend as they protested the funeral of a marine who died in Iraq.

Crazy, right -- I mean, if it's not safe to tell the families of soldiers that their loved ones are now in Hell because America hasn't protested gay folks enough, then what is it safe to do? Scary times, these. Next your gonna tell us that calling someone a "f***ing douchebag" might get your face slapped. Stupid people and their "well, who can blame them"-style reactions to hate-spewing.

Five people were arrested for their anti-Westboro aggression; Westboro members' developments were likely arrested because of father Fred Phelps' raging aggression for most everything.
