Schwarzenegger reportedly will veto Bill; Will/Vito/Bill reportedly pissy

Saying "(t)he governor believes that school curriculum should include all important historical figures, regardless of orientation," a spokesperson for California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has told the Sacramento Bee that if a bill requiring state schools to teach about the historical contributions of homosexuals passes in the Assembly (as it already has in the Senate), then the governor will veto it. To which the ghost of Harvey Milk non-reportedly replied, "Great, first the ghost of Washington beats me at poker, and now this -- a break I just never can catch."

However, bill sponsor Shelia Kuehl refuses to accept the statement from the "underling," telling the Bee that Schwarzenegger will come around to supporting the bill once he "understands how small a change it is." And, of course, we will bring you Schwarzengger's final decision once we "understand a damn thing he says."

But keep the faith, gay icons from days of yore; we're sure Kuehl and company won't let the teaching of Stonewall to become totally...blocked? Delayed? Hmm, can't think of the right word.
