Clinton criticizes marriage tactics of GOP; we say, 'There's some DOMA on your hands that you might wanna wash off first, Bill'
The Vail Daily quotes former Pres. Clinton as recently saying of the Republican's strategy:
“Let’s forget about global warming and talk about flag burning and gay marriage,” Clinton said. “I don’t know how long you can milk that old cow.”
And while we're actually sort of fans of William Jefferson and we agree that the GOP strategy tends to be a diversionary one, we can't help but say to Mr. Clinton: "Had you, when you had the chance, drawn a more equality-couraging strain of milk from "that old cow's" teat...
...perhaps we'd be further along in getting this gay marriage 'issue' settled, once and for all. We're hopeful that Mrs. Clinton, should she make it to the White House, will realize that equality truly does mean equality for all, and that the "old cow" her husband partially raised deserves only one name: "Miss Steak."
