House version of discriminatory poo poo officially fails

By a vote of 236-187 (47 short of the 2/3 majority needed), the House version of a constitutional ban on gay marriage has once again bitten it.

Though for the 236 who voted to ban our nuptials, we only have one question: "You'll still be sending a gift, right?"

You don't have to answer now. But just so you know -- we'll be registered at William-Sonoma.
