In which we combat TVC with 'TV, see'
Just as they did with the Senate version, the gay-unfriendly folks at the Traditional Values Coalition are breaking rank with their "pro-family" cronies and encouraging members of the House to vote against the so-called "Marriage Protection Amendment," because they say it still allows for civil unions. TVC's Andrea Lafferty says:
“This is a poorly written resolution with an even worse sense of timing. We have just won several important court decisions in the past few weeks but the MPA proponents are still playing ‘Let’s Make a Deal’ with the liberals and the homosexual lobby."
