Why, what a precious little Angelides he is!
Phil Angelides, a Democrat who's trying to unseat Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzeneeger in California, has vowed that is he's elected, he would sign a bill legalizing same-sex marriage in the state. This position, of course, runs contrary to Schwarzenegger, who last year vetoed a marriage-legalizing bill.
Adding even further insult to injury, we hear rumors that Angelides will later today declare that he also never, ever,ever, ever, ever, ever would've made Junior, the Last Action Hero, or Christmas in Connecticut.
Just not the best of American cinema, those flicks.
It's unclear if Angleides' primary opponent, the very gay-friendly Steve Westly, would also sign a marriage bill. Though personally we think he's gonna have to one up Mr. Angelides now. We're thinking all expenses paid destination weddings for ourself, our sweeties, and our respective families, perhaps? Maybe a free San Diego honeymoon villa? Ooh, and a new car!!! Eh, we're sure you'll think of something, Stevie.
Oh, and Collateral Damage -- Angelides probably wouldn't have made that flick either.
