Crist okay with civil unions; and before you go crazy, religious right, I said CRIST, no 'h'
Florida GOP gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist has announced that even though he's against same-sex marriage and supports the state's ban on gay adoptions, he has no problem with civil unions for gay couples.
Relatedly, we hear that Crist is also opposed to this...
...and not a fan of this...
...but will, if necessary, allow the blue portion...
...to be granted to gay folks under his watch.
And while a portion of parity is certainly welcomed, especially when granted by a conservative, we're still waiting for the day when all the pieces of the equality puzzle will fall easily, non-controversially into their rightful place.
