Hopeful TN news: Trio of gay banners ousted from Rhea County seats

Citizens of Tennessee's Rhea County have voted incumbents Harold Fisher, Tom Davis, and R. Paul Tallent from their County Commission seats, all three of whom voted back in March of '04 to introduce legislation amending the state's criminal code so that it criminalized homosexuality. Additionally, two others who voted for the unbelievable '04 measure, Dennis Tumlin and Brad Varner, chose to not seek reelection.

No word on what the five former commissioners have planned for the future; however, rumor has it that they'll next try and adjust all of the area clocks so that they don't allow for time's progression.
