Openly gay candidate still jumping hurdles (like a white woman)

Patricia Todd, the openly gay Democrat who recently won her primary for Alabama's 54th legislative district House seat (though the win is being challenged), is now reportedly coming under scrutiny for the fact that she's a white woman who, if elected, would be representing a mostly black district.

News to which Ms. Todd's qualifications and intellect responded: "Ugh, I'm so sick of sitting in the back seat! ::sigh:: I gotta remember to call 'Shotgun' before Race and Sexuality next time!"
