UPDATE: WorldPride off again

A day after we learned that this summer's cancelled WorldPride parade would be rescheduled for September 21, Jerusalem police are now saying that they will not allow the event to be held on that date, as it is just two days before Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year).

We hear local anti-gays concur with decision, though they're basing their desire to cancel on the simple fact that the parade was going to be held on one of the 365 days of the year.

::sigh:: Some people don't care for us.

Police aren't ruling out the possibility that the parade could be rescheduled for yet another date. We say: "We're free December 24 or 25 -- do those work?"
