Well, at least they admit their isolating desires...

by Jeremy Hooper

Yesterday at a fundraising event for California gubernatorial candidate Phil Angelides that was being thrown by the pro-gay Stonewall Democratic Club, a group calling themselves the Church of the Divide held an anti-gay protest. Not to be outdone, we hear the Church of Some Other Verb That Suggests A Desire For A Polarized World will today engage in their own effort to keep human disparity alive and well.

Local news outlets quote the divisive church's Don Drundmann as saying of the group's rights-protesting impetus:

"We're being brainwashed that the homosexuality is a perfectly neutral movement and actually that it's equal to heterosexuality if not better than (heterosexuality) and that's a total lie"

To which we respond:

"Hmm..it's funny that our version of 'brainwashing' doesn't require any sort of outside influence, faith, or teaching to understand, only an acceptance of what naturally exists in every part of the animal kingdom. It's not brainwashing -- it's cleansing your soul of adopted bias."

Oh, and nobody wants homosexuality to be seen as "better than" heterosexuality, Mr. Drundmann. Seriously -- stop trying to separate, disunite, drive us apart, alienate...hmm, can't think of the right word.
