Dick, don't shun Harry: 'Gay-friendly' added to book of words

"Gay-friendly" is one of the more than a thousand words that have been added to the online edition of the Oxford English Dictionary. Or, as it's used in a sentence: "Jimmy, don't believe the anti-gay rhetoric that still plagues this world, as it is the gay-friendly person who history books will remember as having stood up for what is right."

In a related story, we hear "pro-family" and "marriage protection" will soon become the latest additions to the Dictionary Of Terms That The Religious Right Have Hijacked In Order To Make Their Discriminatory Attempts Seem Righteous.

Bada-bing! Online Oxford English Dictionary also adds 'Five-O,' 'plumber's crack,' Wi-Fi and 'gay-friendly' [Raw Story]
