That always infallible litmus test known as the Wal-Mart search engine

The below is from an email we just received from the American Family Association, wherein they decry what they perceive to be Wal-Mart's growing gay-friendliness:

And this is from a post we wrote last March, wherein we questioned why the AFA couldn't just abstain from purchasing the Brokeback Mountain DVD, which they were, at the time, criticizing Wal-Mart for stocking:

Hmmm...did we tip them off to all of the hidden delights that lurk within Wal-Mart's inventory? Were we the ones to show them how to use the search function on the retail giant's site in order to convey a point?

Well, probably not. But just in case we did and they are now reading this followup, we would like to remind the AFA that a search for a certain term does not automatically constitute a promotion of the search topic:

But even if it were an accurate way to judge the company politics, we still wouldn't fret too much, AFA. After all, using the search function-based method of support-gauging...

...the company seems to still be putting "greater stock" in your political team.
