Mitt determined to stop the society-wrecking, family-ruining crisis that has plagued his state
As expected, outgoing Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney said yesterday that he'll try and force a question onto the state's ballot, in which voters could choose to outlaw the Bay State's currently legal practice of same-sex marriage. Less expected, however: He was able to actually talk about gay marriage as a societal threat and still keep a straight face.
A talent, that.
Romney is insinuating that the state's court-initiated gay marriages are a form of tyranny, since the citizens never got a chance to weigh in, while gay rights supporters (rightfully) claim that the court decision was just, as the rights of a minority MUST be protected from the tyranny of a majority. We say:
"The whole of society must be protected from the tyranny of a Mitt Romney presidency!!!!!"
