Mitt goes courtin' to stop gays from courtin'

 Good As You Images  Good As You Images  Good As You Images  Good As You Images  Good As You Images  Good As You Images  Wp-Content Photos 200Px Mitt Romney-1Today in Boston, the Supreme Judicial Court (the same Mass. court that gave gay marriage the go-ahead in 2004) will hear outgoing governor Mitt Romney's request that they use their judicial power to force a vote on a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage.

Picture 1-42Relatedly, today on syndicated television, Judge Joe Brown will hear a case in which a designated driver is being sued for wrecking her friend's car by speeding through a neighborhood--backwards.

So what do these two judicial matters have in common? Well, both could have been avoided if only the party involved was more "forward-thinking" and into "progressive development."
