Good As You Images Good As You Images Good As You Images Wp-Content Photos 200Px Mitt Romney-1In what we see as a transparent way for him to energize conservatives as he gears up for a 2008 presidential run, outgoing Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney has announced he'll appear at an anti-gay marriage rally this Sunday in Boston, where he'll reportedly pressure lawmakers to put the state's currently legal practice of gay marriage up for a public vote.

Not to be outdone, we will spend Sunday bouncing between various retailers in the tri-state area, as we try to get our hands on a Nintendo Wii during its first day of release.

So what do these two November 19 events have in common? Well, both are sure to feature scores of people annoyingly pushing for costly time wasters that none of us really need anyway. However, unlike Mr. Romney, we don't think the Wii is capable of playing political games with the lives of a minority sect of the population.
