Video: Man whose first and last names already sound like a gay couple speaks against actual ones
From yesterday's CNBC program "Kudlow & Company," here's Terry Jeffrey giving producers of the future documentary, "The Last Accepted Bias: Those Who Kept Discrimination Alive in the Early 21st Century," footage for their project:
Oh, Mr. Jeffrey -- justifying bias by citing majority approval for anti-marriage initiatives and antiquated notions of family? The "right side of history" has always been like a nice new undiscovered neighborhood -- it starts out sparsely populated with those clued in to its beauty, then gains more and more people as folks start to see how nice, decent, and peaceful the new vision truly is.
Historical remembrance has never been kind to those who challenged a minority sect's long-sought acceptance. Mr. Jeffrey, we hope you (and President Bush) will move yourself into Acceptanceville before the karma bill of inequality becomes so high that your debt keeps you a permanent citizen of that cold, run-down town known as Unfortunate Legacy Land.
