Austin Green saved from 'Surreal Life'/'Dancing with the Stars' fate?

by Jeremy Hooper

Picture 4-50Brian Austin Green will reportedly star in a new pilot from "Will & Grace" creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, in which the former "90210" star will play a gay man.

Hmm...a white thirtysomething gay male character heading up a sitcom. Nice to see you're branching out, KoMut!

Picture 5-44Additionally, Jessica Capshaw (who appeared and then just sort of disappeared on this season of "The L Word") and another actress, Vanessa Lengies, are slated to co-star in the untitled CBS project. Here's just hoping that neither plays a pill-popping boozehound with the derivative name of Sharon Falker!
