Update that makes us a little more cosi

by Jeremy Hooper

Good As You Images Picture-6-50From reader Matt Weinstein, we just received this comment regarding the Cosi situation:

"Great news! Cosi agreed to let the pictures go back up; when I left the restaurant about an hour ago, they were there with hammers, remounting them. Thanks so much to everybody who called and wrote in - we did it! Please forward this on to everyone in your networks, so we can again call and write Cosi to thank them (very important). And go get a panini at your local franchise... they're really pretty good. --Matt, from New Rochelle"

Great news! We should hear back from the Empire State Pride Agenda later today, so we'll keep you posted with more details and they come in.

Hummus & Veggies sandwich -- it looks like our love affair may not have to end.

**UPDATE from Empire State Pride Agenda:

-All 35 pages of the exhibit will stay on display through March 26.

-There was a gathering outside of the restaurant of about 40 people, which basically turned into a "thanks for making the right decision" rally.

-The emails of protest came from all across the country, leading us (G-A-Y) to further believe that it was the work of a national "pro-family" group. After all, Cosi is in less than 20 states.

-
"It was the right thing to do" was a reason given for letting the display stay.

And finally, some pics from the rally:

Thanks to everyone who took a stand for what's right. It's amazing what we can do when we stand together!

Writing to Cosi to thank them would not be a bad idea.
