Video: Spitzer should just change job status to 'debunker of own work's myths'

by Jeremy Hooper

On a number of occasions, we've pointed out the way the "ex-gay movement" misuses Dr. Robert Spitzer's work. Wayne Besen, however, hasn't gone the extra mile by getting Spitzer both on the record and on camera:

We at G-A-Y have exclusively learned that Focus on the Family will stop misusing Spitzer's study only "when hell freezes over." So wanting to reach that day sooner rather than later, we've asked Dr. Spitzer to immediately release a study saying: "Hell has possibly, in rare instances, frozen over once before." Why have we done this? Well if history is any guide, once Spitzer's far-from-definitive findings are made public, it's sure to be only a matter of hours before FOF is declaring the underworld to be unquestionably icy, no matter what his research shows.

Your thoughts

I would love to see studies of straights who "turn" gay. I've met a couple who crossed the line and are very good lesbians!
