Just when you think depravity level's been reached, Shirl says something else

by Jeremy Hooper

Picture 21-3Been shocked by Westboro Baptist so many times that you think you are now unshockable? Yea, so did we. That is until we saw the below quotes, which are pulled from a CBS News report on the the clan's plan to picket at the funerals of the Virginia Tech victims:

The evidence is they were not Christian. God does not do that to his servants,” [Shirley] Phelps-Roper said. “You don’t need to look any further for evidence those people are in hell.”

Cho Seung-Hui, the Virginia Tech student responsible for the killings who took his own life after the shootings, was sent by God to punish those he killed, and America as a whole, for moral decline, said Phelps-Roper, while adding that she believes Cho is also in hell for violating God’s commandment to not kill.

He is in hell,” Phelps-Roper said. “But he was also fulfilling the word of God.”

Speechless.

Group Plans To Picket Va. Tech Funerals [CBS News]

**UPDATE, 4/20: Just as he did with last year's Amish school shootings, radio show host Mike Gallagher has agreed to dedicate his full show on Tuesday 4/24 to the family and their exploits, in exchange for a promise that they won't picket the VA Tech memorials. So for now it looks like the pickets are off.

Your thoughts

Um. Jesus Christ? I think he was their god's servant and was killed in a brutal way.

No, I must be confused.

Wow.

The poetic justice is that that c**t and her inbred Klan of trash does more for our cause than her pea-sized brain could ever imagine (much less comprehend).

EDITOR: Asterisks our own.

TOTAL poopie head. Perhaps even with diarrhea running down her face.

It is at this point that the general public wises up to the fact that the funerals chosen for the pickets are not chosen because of an actual belief that those departed souls are any more wicked than any other. It is now 100% evident that the funerals chosen for pickets are chosen purely on the basis of which ones will generate the most attention to themselves and their abominable ministry.

Not that this is a surprise. But it's nice to have confirmation.

Oh dear, I really don't have any words I can say to describe such a uneducated, crude, insensitive remark by this woman. I think we need another flood, a really really big one, to wash out people like this. It's just completely unbelievable. Those victims died through no fault of their own, they were killed by a depraved madman who chose them at random or so I am told. Really, can't these people rest in peace?
