Moe Faggerty, you might just want to call them instead

TelecomlogocolourNew Zealand phone company Telecom NZ recently rejected emails sent to them by a customer named Gay Hamilton, because the organization's automated system rejected the woman's first name as an "inappropriate" term.

Ugh, that's so gay!

We've written to the employee said responsible for the persnickety email system, Communications Director Ida Noethameeningof Inuhpro-Preeut, to get a response to this matter. Here's hoping our email bounces back not because we liberally used the word "gay," but rather because that employee name is both made up and ridiculous.

Gay’s name too ‘inappropriate’ for Telecom NZ [IT Wire]
