The Westboro mention we tried to ignore

WestanyAlright, so we've been asked by loads of people why we haven't mentioned it. So here ya go: Yes, Westboro Baptist Church plans to picket at Jerry Falwell's funeral:

Anti-Gay Phelps Clan To Protest At Falwell Funeral [365 Gay]

News to which the big guy upstairs was heard to respond:

"Ooh, I'm SO staying out of this one. Way, way, WAY out!

Hey Jesus: if someone with the name Phelps calls looking for me and asking for a statement on Falwell, I'm not home! Those two acquaintances are NOT gonna put me in the middle of this one!

Honestly, it's like it's September 2001 all over again! Back then, Fred was all like, 'You did this because of the 'fags,' right?' And then Jerry was going around saying I did it not because of 'the fags,' but rather because of gay activists and a whole slew of other groups of my children. And I started to IM them and tell them both to quiet down so I could watch my 'Queer As Folk' DVDs. But at the end of the day, I figured they both seemed to be getting some sort of bizarre enjoyment out of casting those stones that I so staunchly said not to cast, so I just shut my trap and hoped for Brian and Justin to get back together.

Oh, my name in vain --
these kids of mine! They're good comedy at times, but every now and then they really start to try my patience."

Wise words. In fact, we only have to add: "If you like 'QAF,' God, you might wanna give 'The L Word' a try. Better acting, even if the writing can be spotty at times."
