Braves & gays both victorious in Padres match-up

HartlineSo recently we've been telling you how "former homosexual" James Hartline (pic) and some buddies have been organizing a protest of boycott of a San Diego Padres game because of a gay pride event scheduled to be held at the ballpark. Well, we're happy to report that the game (Padres v. Braves) was held last night, and that with 41,026 out of a possible 42,685 fans in attendance at PETCO Park, the anti-gay game-cott seems to have completely tanked:

Boycott of gay pride event at Padres game fizzles [San Diego Union-Tribune]

Down but not deterred, we hear the anti-gays will tonight trek down to the local putt-putt palace, wherein they'll protest the windmill's acceptance of pink balls.

**Note: We think we're kidding about that last part, but who the hell knows anymore?!

Your thoughts

What kind of indoctrination or acts were these christians claiming would happen? Did they think that gay people would just have sex in the seats during the game?

It boggles my mind to figure these people out.

OUCH! Now my brain hurts! :/

Get a load of the comments posted at the site linked at the end of the article. You can feel the love of God flowing throught words of "displaced Texan."

He apparently never had a thought that wasn't originated by or validated by wingnut radio. I think he might be a drunk playing "the devils advocate" or perhaps the child of siblings.
