Video: Rev. puts John's faith to the test
We're about to post a video featuring a Southern religious leader speaking about gay marriage. So you know exactly what to except, right?
Well, don't be so sure:
Amen.
Rev. Longcrier's question is one of the thousands that could be possibly selected for next Monday's CNN/YouTube Democratic Debate. We would definitely like to see religious justification for civil rights discrimination put up for debate at that event; however, it seems like a missed opportunity to just confine this question to John E. After all, neither Hill or Barack are jumping to the forefront to fully connect the dots of historical bias at this point in time! So for the debate, we want to suggest the more sweeping question:
"EVERYONE: Are you going to step up and stop religious, social conservatives from playing political football with gay lives and loves, or are you going to just sit on the sidelines and allow the national scoreboard to stay at its current place of FAITH-BASED LEGISLATION OF MORALITY: 1, SEPARATING THE CIVIL FROM THE RELIGIOUS AND SHOWING PEOPLE WHY SUCH IS IMPERATIVE FOR A FAIR AND EQUAL SOCIETY: 0? Thank you.
