If anyone wants to pawn Hillary's soul, we gays do apparently now own it

"The homosexual activists are now demanding more and more," he notes. "It's not enough that Hillary Clinton is comfortable around homosexuals; now they want her to be more radical, as it were, in her pronouncements [and] in her policies, and I think this is what we are seeing," says LaBarbera.

He calls the homosexual movement "very aggressive." And he sates [sic] that if Hillary Clinton wins the 2008 presidency race "she is going to owe the gay lobby a lot just like her husband did when he was president."

LaBarbera says the leadership of the Democratic Party has made it very clear that they have "sold their soul to the devil" on this issue.

Yea, can you believe us "militant" gays, being so bold as to demand more of our potential leaders than just "comfort" around us? And can you even fathom that we are asking that our constitutions not be used as political weapons? Simply merciless, we are!

But then again, we are, according to Pete, the "devil" to whom politicians sell their soul whenever they support the "radical" idea that gays are people. Why should we be expected to embrace anything less than the sort of "evil, unsavory agenda" that asks for our tax-paying lives to enjoy the same legal fairness as our heterosexual peers? After all, we gays do hate God and religion, right? Or at least that's what we have gleaned from reading "pro-family" literature.

So yes, you clearly have it all figured out, Pete. And we're sure you're very proud of yourself. Here's just hoping for your sake that your Christian God is more of a fan of cruel, judgmental stone-casting than he ever let on.

Its just a criminal shame that all these bible thumpers are getting so much leeway.

The price to be paid for too much freedom of speech I suppose.

I guess Peter's side thinks it is all right for them to expect a candidate to do their bidding. Why should our side not expect the same the same. Is'nt this what freedom is all about?
