'I'm not resigning. I never have been resigning'
It is now being rumored that Sen. Larry Craig will resign at some point today.
So if history is a guide regarding Craig and rumors, he will actually resign sometime around 2032.

**UPDATE: Some sort of announcement is now expected on Saturday, 9/1 (2032).
**UPDATE, 9/1: Okay, okay - so unlike the gay rumors, the resignation rumors didn't need as much time to cook in the mainstream news cycle before publicly coming to light. Here it is, the official Craig resignation announcement:
So September 30 is the big day, huh? Well, let's us go ahead and say an early goodbye, Mr. Craig. We'll always remember the late summer that we shared.
