Video: 'Brokeback' in Heath's homeland

by Jeremy Hooper

Australia's "60 Minutes" recently ran a piece on once hetero-identified dads who've revealed that they prefer to share their Vegemite sandwiches with members of their own gender. Check it out:

The lesson: Whether in the West, the Far or MIddle East, the Tropics, Antarctica, or Down Under, the closet is a brutal place from which to conduct one's affairs. It shouldn't take "60 Minutes" to tell us that. In fact, if the 'mo foes of the world would take half that time to rationally, reasonably consider that their queer antipathy is harming society, we'd maybe all come to a day where one's ability to live their truth is a non-issue. And that, my friends, would be a g'day, mate.

Your thoughts

Wow!
Very nicely done!

If only Brokeback Mountain had worked out half as well.
