Video: Can I get an 'Amen' from those who loathe gay men?

by Jeremy Hooper

Ya know, we've been called lots of things from various 'mo foes. However, this might just be the first time we've heard the words "two hairy, stank men" used to decry our same-sex couplings:

That's Pastor G. Craige Lewis of Atlanta's Ex Minstries, apparently preaching out of the Book of Pink is For Girls, Blue is For Boys. Because it's apparently not enough in Pastor Lewis to just paint the Bible as if it is a lock-solid book of gay condemnations in order to justify your fear or bias towards gay folks. No, he must also make it seems as if the long, silky-haired, flowing garment-wearing Jesus intended for any and everyone who looks a little "fruity" to also be "cast out."

Simply unreal.

These folks just better hope when Jesus does return, he doesn't befriend a nice defamation lawyer. Oy, where would he even begin?!

**UPDATE: Craige actually seems to be out of TX, not GA.

Your thoughts

Gee Pastor, you should be careful. For all we know, that purple carpet might be the work of the devil too. Do we fully know the "spiritual ramifications" of that? That must be how we all turn gay. GENIUS!

I hadn't heard the bit about pierced ears on men causing bisexuality before... golly!

He is correct. Homosexual behavior is not normal. Homosexuals are sex deviants who deserve the fires of hell and unless they repent of their sins, will spend eternity in hell. Accept Jesus Christ as your Savior now and receive forgiveness.

Glad to see you could drop by, Rev. Spitz. Have a nice day.

Hey Rev. Spitz,

When I get to Hell I'll make sure I save you a nice cozy seat. Be kind to me. I just might be the one passing you the glass of ice water.

Have a wonderful day! :)

Interesting information. Here is the concern, though - it is not accurate. Though sprinkled with some truth, there are glaring discrepancies. Keep in mind I could be wrong, but Minister (Elder) G. Craig Lewis (he is not a pastor that I have discovered) is out of Texas, not Georgia. You have posted an excerpt from one of his messages, and the message was about Hip-Hop.

It is a gross and irresponsible discolorization to say that G. Craig Lewis paints the bible to be a lock-solid gay condemnations to justify anything. His target is SIN, not gays, not condemnation. It is even more of a gross miscalculation (whether deliberate or not) to depict Christ having long, silky hair. Now, before you get too far on that side, there is a CLEAR depiction of Christ in the bible, and there is NO POSSIBLE WAY his hair was long or silky. But that is much of the misinformation out there. It isn't condemnation to tell your brother about their iniquity, no matter what the iniquity may be. You should expect someone to be just as diligent about ANY SIN as ANY OTHER SIN...

Jaye: What's interesting is that you have commented on this four months after it was posted, and after the video itself has been pulled. How can you even know to what we are referring when the video is no longer up?

That being said, you do see mto eb right about him being out of TX, not GA. we've added an update to reflect this.
