CO lesbians to marry tushy with floor
Colorado lesbian couple Kate Burns and Sheila Schroeder are reportedly planning to apply for a marriage license today at Denver's Webb building. And when inevitably denied for the nuptials-allowing paper, the ladies indicate that they will stage a sit-in until they are allowed to get one:

Of course by "until they are allowed to get one," the ladies most likely mean "until they are ultimately carted off by authorities." But hey, at least they are making a statement. Until we are all all free to make the statement, "We'd like a marriage license, please," without such being newsworthy, then you gotta respect anyone who's willing to put a public face on the disparity.
