The proponents of 'ex'es get protested in Texas

by Jeremy Hooper

Wayne Besen2 LargeThis Saturday, when the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH) holds its annual meeting at the Dallas Marriott, our pal Wayne Besen (pic.) and his Truth Wins Out group will lead a protest against the junk science that fuels the organization and the "ex-gay" movement in general.

While Wayne & Co. are doing that, we plan to stay in New York and yell at a brick wall. We would have gone to to Dallas to instead try and talk sense into the professional "ex-gay" proponents. But in the end, we had to choose to spend our weekend dialoguing with the better listener.

For more on Wayne's protest, click the link below. For more on our wall yelling, just hop on over to the Upper East Side of Manhattan and listen for our screams. We'll be the ones thank the cinder block barrier for listening to us in ways that Joseph Nicolosi never would.
